Shalbourne Football Club, also known as the ‘Uddermen’, play league matches most Sunday mornings during the football season (between September and April). Update fixture lists and results are posted on the club website.

We play in the Newbury and District Sunday League, which consists of around 40 teams in and around the West Berkshire area.

All home games are played at the Recreation Ground, affectionately known as ‘the Moo Kamp’, which is located at the edge of the village along Rivar road. Post Code SN8 3PU. To reach the ground take the A338 turning left at the signpost for Shalbourne and then turn left at the Plough Inn onto Rivar road.

You may have seen some of the lads cycling around the village each year we hold a sponsored Bike Ride, done in fancy dress and covering around 22 miles, to raise money for the club. This usually takes place every August bank holiday weekend.

The Club would like to thank The Downgate Pub, The Railway Tavern, Highgloss of Hungerford and Mr. Paul Grasby for their continued sponsorship and support without which the club wouldn’t be able to continue. Thank You.
